5th Grade is finishing up operations with decimals and is beginning work with fractions.

5th Grade is investigating both fictional chapter books and informational resources on European explorers as we practice describing the influence the point of view has on events in a story. Mr. Alvarez's class is reading Bud, Not Buddy while Ms. Brounstein's class is reading Esperanza Rising, and Ms. Garlick's class is reading Where the Red Fern Grows.
