Hello North Mor Families and Friends,

This is a quick reminder of upcoming events happening at North Mor for the remainder of the month.

 

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES - February 15th!

Just a friendly reminder: Parent Teacher Conferences will be held tomorrow from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm.  This also means that students will not have school for the day.  In the event of a snow delay or cancellation which causes conferences to be postponed / rescheduled, both the school and individual teachers will reach out to you.  As usual, families will be notified through the Adams 12 communication system and will receive a text and email message.  Additional information can also be found on local news stations. 

 

FAMILY-SCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS SURVEY

To help us continually elevate your child’s educational experience, I encourage you to take our annual Family-School Relationships Survey! The survey is specific for our school and will help us know where we are succeeding and where we can improve. The survey is open now through Feb. 17. Take it today: www.adams12.org/familysurvey. 

 

BUILDING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES

Our next Building Healthy Communities event is on February 21st from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Educational Support Center (1500 E. 128th Ave).  In partnership with Ralston House, we will host a free course on understanding and protecting children from sexual abuse. Quality education empowers all people to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know. Come and learn about ways to equip yourself with skills to protect your child from predatory behaviors. This presentation is designed for adults and the material is not suitable for children. Childcare for children that are potty trained and are 3 years or older will be provided. You can learn more about the event and register here.

 

NORTH MOR NOOK 
Our North Mor Nook provides essential needs for our students and families such as food, hygiene & cleaning supplies, clothing and other resources. As the colder months are approaching, we have coats, gloves, and other clothing available if needed.  Please visit our Nook Website or call Vanessa Gaytan at 720-972-3541 for more information or to make a donation.

 

NORTH MOR YEARBOOK

If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook for the 2022-2023 school year, all purchases must be completed online through the link provided here. 

 

UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES:

• February 15, 7:15 am - 7:15 pm - Parent Teacher Conferences; NO school for students
• February 16- NO school for students, teacher work day
• February 17 - NO school for students, teacher inservice
• February 20 - NO school, Presidents Day
• March 2 - Individual and Class Pictures (more information to follow)

Este es un rápido recordatorio de los próximos eventos que sucederán en North Mor durante el resto del mes.

 

CONFERENCIAS DE PADRES Y MAESTRAS - 15 de Febrero!

Solo un recordatorio amistoso: las conferencias de padres y maestros se llevarán a cabo mañana de 7:15 am a 7:15 pm. Esto también significa que los estudiantes no tendrán clases ese día. En caso de que se produzca un retraso o una cancelación debido a la nieve que ocasione que las conferencias se pospongan/reprogramen, tanto la escuela como los maestros individuales se comunicarán con usted. Como de costumbre, las familias serán notificadas a través del sistema de comunicación Adams 12 y recibirán un mensaje de texto y un correo electrónico. También se puede encontrar información adicional en las estaciones de noticias locales.

 

ENCUESTA DE RELACIONES FAMILIA-ESCUELA

Para ayudarnos a mejorar continuamente la experiencia educativa de su hijo, ¡lo animo a que complete nuestra Encuesta anual de relaciones entre la familia y la escuela! La encuesta es específica para nuestra escuela y nos ayudará a saber dónde estamos teniendo éxito y dónde podemos mejorar. La encuesta está abierta desde ahora hasta el 17 de Febrero. CONSTRUYENDO COMUNIDADES SALUDABLES

Acompáñenos en nuestro próximo evento de creando comunidades saludables el 21 de Febrero de 5:30 a 7:30 p.m. en el Educational Support Center (1500 E. 128th Ave). En collaboración con la organización Ralson House, tendremos un curso gratiuito sobre entendiendo y protegiendo a los niños del abuso sexual. Una educación de alta calidad capacita a todas las personas para marcar una diferencia positiva en la vida de alguien conocido. Aprenda cómo identificar comportamientos de depredadores y cómo puede proteger a su hijo/a. Está presentación está diseñada para adultos, ya que el material no es apropiado para niños. Se proporcionará servicio de guardería para los niños que saben usar el baño solos y tengan 3 años de edad o más. Visite nuestra página web para aprender más sobre el evento y registrarse.

Nuestro North Mor Nook proporciona necesidades esenciales para nuestros estudiantes y familias, como alimentos, artículos de higiene y limpieza, ropa y otros recursos. A medida que se acercan los meses más fríos, tenemos abrigos, guantes y otra ropa disponible si es necesario.
