Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Welcome Back North Mor Families and Friends,

 

I hope that this communication finds you and your families doing well - I can imagine that it’s been a busy summer for you and yours while finding ways to have fun in the sun.  While there is still time left to enjoy the freedoms that summer brings, we are anxiously awaiting what is going to be an incredible school year filled with joy and learning. 

 

We have some exciting changes to our school staff that include adding new staff to the team as well as a change in position for several existing staff members.   Additionally, we are still in the process of hiring a Fourth Grade Teacher, two Student Monitors and two “In House Guest Teachers”. 

 

-Erin Stellish - moving from 3rd grade to kindergarten

-Holly Maestas - moving from kindergarten to a Learning Specialist position

-Michael Peterson - moving from 4th grade to 5th grade (replacing Ms. Garlick)

-Chelsey Rubin - new to 1st grade

-Jessica Marcilla - new to 5th grade (replacing Ms. Plett)

-Maddie Wall - new to 5th grade (replacing Ms. DeFouw)

-Kay Moore - new classroom para

You’ll notice that our school website has a new and fresh look at https://northmor.adams12.org/ .  Although it is still under construction, we have the updated school supply list available there.   You can also visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NorthMorElementary for more information and updates.

 

ONLINE CHECK-IN

The online check-in process is the district's check-in process for all families with returning K-12 students enrolled in any district school.  The purpose of the online check-in is to update any student information and complete registration for the upcoming school year.  The check-in process is open from July 11 through August 14 and can be accessed through the Infinite Campus parent portal. UPCOMING Important DATES

●      August 2, 8 am - 3 pm - North Mor building opens for new student enrollment

●      August 8, 8-11 am - Kindergarten student screening (more information to come soon!)

●      August 15 , 12:00 pm - 7:15 pm - Back to School Night Conferences - sign up will come directly from your child’s teacher by August 10

●      August 16 - First day of school!

Buenos días familias y amigos de North Mor,

 

Espero que esta comunicación los encuentre a usted y a sus familias bien. Puedo imaginar que ha sido un verano ocupado para usted y los suyos mientras buscaban formas de divertirse bajo el sol. Si bien todavía queda tiempo para disfrutar de las libertades que trae el verano, estamos esperando ansiosamente lo que será un año escolar increíble lleno de alegría y aprendizaje.

 

Tenemos algunos cambios emocionantes en el personal de nuestra escuela que incluyen agregar personal nuevo al equipo, así como un cambio de posición para varios miembros del personal existentes. Además, todavía estamos en el proceso de contratación de un maestro de cuarto grado, dos estudiantes monitores y dos "maestros invitados internos".

FACTURACIÓN EN LÍNEA

El proceso de registro en línea es el proceso de registro del distrito para todas las familias con estudiantes de K-12 que regresan inscritos en cualquier escuela del distrito. El propósito del registro en línea es actualizar la información del estudiante y completar el registro para el próximo año escolar. El proceso de registro está abierto desde el 11 de julio hasta el 14 de agosto y se puede acceder a través del portal para padres de Infinite Campus. PRÓXIMAS FECHAS IMPORTANTES

●      2 de agosto, 8 am - 3 pm - Se abre el edificio North Mor para la inscripción de nuevos estudiantes

●      8 de agosto, de 8 a 11 a. m.: evaluación de estudiantes de jardín de infantes (¡pronto habrá más información!)

●      15 de agosto, 12:00 p. m. - 7:15 p. m. - Conferencias nocturnas de regreso a la escuela: la inscripción vendrá directamente del maestro de su hijo antes del 10 de agosto

●      16 de agosto - ¡Primer día de clases!
